The anamorphic lens in combination with the 1.25x adapter creates a 2x squeeze ratio for even more anamorphic effects, such as waterfall bokeh.

Wide, wider, widest
The lens has a 1.6x squeeze factor. When recording in the 3:2 format, the aspect ratio is 2.4:1. If the sensor is set to 16:9, you will end up with an aspect ratio of 2.8:1. The viewing experience achieved is as high-quality and intense as the well-known IMAX format.

Limitless possibilities
Be it wide scenes or close-ups, the images you get with this lens are of superior quality, high resolution and good sharpness. Because it's a full-frame lens, it can display more than its APS-C equivalents, giving you plenty of room for pan-and-scan or punching in post-production. For example, if part of an image is unnecessary, simply cut it out without worrying about losing pixels.

Solid workmanship
The super slim barrel of the lens is made of high quality aluminum alloy. In addition, the aperture and focus rings are ideally designed for use with a follow focus system.

Beautiful oval bokeh
The lens with its 1.6x squeeze factor creates a beautiful oval bokeh in a more pleasant shape than lenses with a 1.33x squeeze factor, which gives the film result additional expressiveness and aesthetics.

1.25x Adapter: 2x Squeeze - Widescreen filmen wie im Kino

With the SIRUI 1.25x anamorphic adapter you can widen the images from your lenses without loss (cropping) in height. The squeeze factor of the lens is multiplied by the squeeze factor of the adapter 1.25x. That means 1.6x becomes 2.0x

The adapter is equipped with a manual focus and comes with a gear ring for follow focus systems. It has an 82mm filter thread.
