Warranty terms of SIRUI Optical GmbH in Germany
Thank you for purchasing professional products from SIRUI Optical GmbH! SIRUI Optical GmbH guarantees that your purchase is free from material and workmanship defects under normal use during the limited warranty period. The warranty period begins on the original purchase date on your purchase receipt. If service is required, please include a copy of the purchase receipt and the SIRUI Optical GmbH warranty card with a description of the problem. Please keep your purchase receipt and warranty card in a safe place. Please read the following notice.
Limited warranties of SIRUI Optical GmbH –
6 years for tripods, monopods, heads, and accessories;
6 years for humidity cabinets (3 years for electronics);
1 year warranty for lighting;
1 year for mobile accessories and lenses;
3 years for camera lenses
NOTE: The warranty period is subject to the warranty certificate included in the package.
The warranties are limited to free repair, adjustment, and/or free replacement (at the choice of SIRUI Optical GmbH or its authorized distributor) of defective parts (excluding shipping costs to the distributor/service center). Liability is limited to the actual cost of the item.
Before sending a product in for repair, please send an email with questions or issues to SIRUI Optical GmbH. For warranty service, all shipping and insurance costs must be paid in advance. Include a copy of the purchase receipt and a description of the problem. The product or defective parts can be sent through an authorized dealer of SIRUI Optical GmbH locally or directly to SIRUI Optical GmbH at Ernst-Augustin-Straße 1A, Berlin, Germany (service@sirui.com).
SIRUI Optical GmbH is not liable for costs, inconveniences, or consequential damages to devices or from breach of an express or implied warranty.
Repairs outside the warranty – SIRUI Optical GmbH will provide a cost estimate (including shipping costs) and repairs will begin once the estimate is approved and payment is received. A return shipping fee will be charged for declined estimates.
Restrictions
The warranty is non-transferable.
This warranty covers all defects occurring under normal use of the device and does not apply in the following cases:
If the device has been serviced by anyone other than an authorized dealer or service center of SIRUI Optical GmbH.
Damage to the device due to modifications (including but not limited to removal of ball head clamps), overloading, mishandling, abuse, accident, sand*, corrosive agents, water damage*, or failure to follow the operating instructions.
No valid proof of purchase is presented.
Damage caused by natural disasters (including but not limited to fire, floods, or earthquakes).
Attention: Please do not send products to the above address before speaking with someone from our technical support team.
NOTE: Please be aware that the 6-year warranty from SIRUI Optical GmbH only applies to products purchased from local authorized dealers of SIRUI Optical GmbH (please contact us before purchase if the dealer you are considering is not on our list of authorized dealers of SIRUI Optical GmbH). For products purchased in China but used outside the country, the warranty only covers service within China and does not include shipping outside China.
SIRUI Optical GmbH provides no support for SIRUI products purchased from unauthorized resellers of SIRUI Optical GmbH – this policy is strictly enforced without exception. If you purchase a SIRUI product from an unauthorized dealer via FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) or other dealers/sellers in-store or online, you will receive no repairs, parts, or technical support in China. This policy also applies to online purchases made through resellers outside China (i.e. – shipping from Europe, Japan, the USA, etc.).
Note: Local laws may provide different rights and you may be subject to the consumer protection laws or regulations of the state where you purchased the product, or, if different, your state of residence. The benefits granted by the limited warranty of SIRUI Optical GmbH are in addition to all rights and remedies provided by these consumer protection laws and regulations, including but not limited to these additional rights.
