The lens provides a widescreen format of 2.35:1 in 16:9 shooting mode. This dynamic capability transforms your footage into a captivating cinematic experience, highlights fine details, and ensures accurate colors that will impress your audience and elevate your productions to a professional level.

*When shooting in 16:9 format, this lens offers a standard aspect ratio of 2.35:1.

Since traditional anamorphic lenses do not have autofocus, it was often difficult to quickly capture images during shooting. Additionally, photographers usually have to crop the image to achieve a widescreen format, which often results in significant content loss.

The 40mm lens was designed for video and photo shooting and features both manual and automatic focusing functions, as well as the option to choose between stepped and stepless aperture settings.

The 40mm lens produces a distinctive hexagonal, elliptical bokeh when the aperture is fully open, thanks to its unique optical design and aperture blade structure. When stopped down to T2.4, the bokeh transitions into the characteristic 1.33x elliptical shape, offering the classic anamorphic aesthetic. This flexibility allows you to achieve different bokeh styles depending on your creative needs.
