Since conventional anamorphic lenses do not have autofocus, it was often difficult to quickly capture images during shooting. Also, photographers usually have to crop the image to achieve a widescreen format, which often leads to a significant loss of content.

The 40mm lens produces a distinctive hexagonal, elliptical bokeh when the aperture is fully open, thanks to its unique optical design and aperture blade structure. When stopped down to T2.4, the bokeh transitions into the characteristic 1.33x elliptical shape, offering the classic anamorphic aesthetic. This flexibility allows you to achieve different bokeh styles depending on your creative needs.
